Edukasi Kepada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) Mengenai Alat Kontrasepsi Implan di PKM Candra Mukti Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat

Program edukasi kontrasepsi implan sebagai upaya peningkatan pengetahuan wanita usia subur (WUS) di Wilayah Kerja PKM Candra Mukti dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas intervensi edukasi berbasis ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan tanya jawab dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan WUS terkait implan. Metode quasi-experimental dengan desain pretest-posttest diterapkan pada 11 peserta yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil pretest menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan awal berkisar 20–60% pada aspek definisi, mekanisme kerja, manfaat, efek samping, hingga prosedur pemasangan implan. Pasca intervensi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dengan capaian 70–100% pada seluruh indikator pengetahuan, termasuk pemahaman tentang kontraindikasi (100%) dan teknik pemasangan (100%). Analisis data mengungkap bahwa pendekatan edukasi partisipatif yang melibatkan tenaga kesehatan berhasil mengurangi kesenjangan informasi sebesar 40–80%, sekaligus meningkatkan kesediaan penggunaan implan dari 20% menjadi 80% peserta1. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi strategi komunikasi risiko, kolaborasi lintas sektor, dan metode penyampaian berbasis komunitas efektif dalam mengubah persepsi negatif masyarakat. Studi merekomendasikan replikasi model serupa di daerah dengan prevalensi KB rendah serta penguatan sistem pendukung melalui alokasi anggaran pelatihan peer educator, integrasi modul digital, dan optimalisasi peran tenaga kesehatan dalam konseling kontrasepsi
