Abstract

Rivalitas antara Quadrilateral Security Dialogue dan China di kawasan Indo-Pasifik semakin menguat dan membentuk arsitektur geopolitik baru yang berdampak langsung terhadap kepentingan strategis Indonesia.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Bagaimana implikasi multidimensi dari rivalitas Quad dan China terhadap posisi strategis Indonesia di kawasan Indo-Pasifik, khususnya dalam aspek keamanan, ekonomi, politik luar negeri, serta pertahanan dan kepentingan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis analisis dokumen, studi ini menemukan bahwa posisi strategis Indonesia di kawasan menjadikannya rentan terhadap dinamika militerisasi di Laut China Selatan, ketergantungan ekonomi terhadap Belt and Road Initiative, dan tekanan diplomatik dari kekuatan besar dunia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia harus merespons rivalitas ini melalui penguatan diplomasi aktif, modernisasi pertahanan, peningkatan kapasitas intelijen strategis, dan diversifikasi mitra kerja sama. Temuan ini juga menegaskan pentingnya Indonesia memosisikan diri sebagai kekuatan penyeimbang di tengah rivalitas global, agar tidak hanya menjadi objek kontestasi geopolitik, melainkan juga aktor strategis yang dapat berperan dalam menjaga stabilitas dan perdamaian kawasan Indo-Pasifik. Penelitian ini memperkaya teori hubungan internasional Indonesia dan memberi kerangka analisis strategis bagi kebijakan luar negeri. Ke depan, disarankan pendekatan kuantitatif atau mixed-method untuk mengukur dampak rivalitas Quad dan China secara lebih terstruktur..
